The Umm el-Jimal Project and Open Hand Studios are partnering with the Municipality of Umm el-Jimal, and the town's residents to restore ancient Umm el-Jimal's water collection system. When complete, the ancient ruins' aqueducts and reservoirs once again will provide water for Umm el-JImal's 6000 modern residents, their farms, and animals.

Check back soon for more on this project.
